Christmas and Family

There is nothing like the Christmas season, but especially Christmas day to make you miss family. This year I have grown to miss my family traditions and time spent together. The holiday season was always one that we spent many hours together. This year I don't have that. 

Yes we spent Christmas with my husbands siblings. However, it just was not the same. Different traditions, but at the same time so much the same. I am grateful that we were able to spend the day with my in-laws, but more so I can not wait to see my family tomorrow. It will be nice to spend some time with them even if it is after the fact.
